TV studio worth over N500 Abandoned in National Assembly

Senate President, Bukola Saraki has discovered an abandoned National Assembly Television (NASS TV) studio worth over N500 million.

However, Saraki promised to investigate factors that contributed to abandonment of the project which is located inside National Assembly Premises.

It would be recalled that Senate President had last embarked on a tour of the facilities within the National Assembly Compex.

Saraki on his tweeter handle said that he was informed that up to N500 million was spent on the project in the 7^th Senate.

The Senate President also assured that the National Assembly would continue to support President Muhammadu Buhari‎ by enacting appropriate laws and giving proper oversight to government agencies.

His words, “I was told up to 500 Million Naira was spent on it. We will look into it to find out the true situation of things”

‎On Buhari’s anti-corruption war, Saraki said ”We support it and will continue to do so by enacting appropriate laws and giving proper oversight.

“We have kick-started the process of restoring public trust, that 8th Senate will only make people-oriented decisions .”.”
