SPEAKERSHIP: ASPIRANTS UNITES TO BURRY BAGO’S MUM IN MINNA
Senators, 150 Rep Members joins Hon. Bago

Hajia Aisha Mohammed, mother of House of Representatives’ Speakership aspirant and Member representing Chanchagi federal constituency of Niger state, Rt. Hon. Umar Mohammed Bago, was buried on Sunday, June 2, 2019 after Janaizah prayers in Minna, Niger state, in line with Islamic traditional.
Speaker Dogara, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamaila, Hon. Idris Was and 150 other lawmakers both new and old from within and outside Niger State came to pay the last respect to Hon. Bago’s mum in Minna.
Sighted at the Venue of the Burial was Senators and Rep Members in their numbers, who joined Hon. Bago to burry mum in Minna.
The acting governor, Deputy Governor of Niger State, Marafa represented the governor who has gone on Umrah to perform lesser Hajj. The speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, the Niger State Assembly Speaker, Emirs of Lapai, Again and Minna joined other dignitaries to lay Hajia Mohammed to rest.
In a press statement signed by Hon. Victor Afam Ogene, Spokesman, Hon. Mohammed Bago Campaign Organisation, Hajia Mohammed died on Saturday, June 1, 2019 after a very brief illness. “We wish to announce, with gratitude to Almighty Allah, the death of Hajia Aisha Mohammed, mother of 9th Assembly Speakership hopeful and member representing Chanchagi Federal Constituency of Niger State, Hon. Mohammed Bago”, the statement reads in part.
The Chief Imam of Minna Central Mosque prayed Allah to “forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannatul Firduas”.
