In quick response to the recent insecurity report in Osun State , the state House of Assembly has proposed the kidnapping prohibition bill 2019.
The bill was sponsored by the speaker of the state House of Assembly Rt ( Hon) Timothy Owoeye. The bill was as a result of his burn desire to curb kidnapping and it’s attendant consequences on the security of lives and property, lawmakers eventually made the bill to pass through it’s first reading while discussion on the policy thrust will continue when it reconvene at the second reading of the bill.
The speaker believe that with the right step in place it is most certain that the nefarious activities of the kidnappers will be arrested particularly the disturbing and shameful manner it has become nowadays.
