National Assembly to hold breakfast prayer over Nigeria’s security challenges

The leadership of the National Assembly on Friday, October 25, concluded plans to organise a national breakfast prayer session against the security challenges in Nigeria. The prayer session which will be held at the National Assembly on Thursday, October 31, is being organised by lawmakers under the aegis of Christian Legislators’ Fellowship. It will also mark the 10th anniversary of the fellowship since its establishment.

The special guest for the prayer session is President Muhammadu Buhari with Senate President, Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan as the chief host. Speaking on the event, the president of the CLF, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, who represents Taraba South senatorial district said, prayer changes things. Bwacha also noted that while Nigeria is making progress, the country is not yet where it out to be presently. “Ernest prayers will change our situation for the better. Even our Armed forces admit that Nigeria needs prayers to overcome insurgency and the numerous security challenges,” Bwacha said
