A civic technology organisation, Monitoring for Integrity in Nigeria, popularly known as MonITNG, has called for an investigation into a constituency project linked to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu.
In a post shared on X, the group urged the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to probe alleged irregularities surrounding a project meant for Bende Secondary Grammar School in Abia State.
MonITNG stated that records published on govspend.com showed that ₦265.3 million was reportedly paid in December 2025 to Muslac Techno Company Limited for the construction of a conference and e-learning facility listed under the 2024 federal budget.
