ANALAG Inaugurates Six South-West State Coordinators, Charges Them to Strengthen Grassroots Mobilisation
The Association of National and State Assembly Leaders and Groups (ANALAG) has inaugurated six State Coordinators for the South-West region, with a charge to strengthen the organisation’s grassroots structures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration, which took place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the APC Secretariat in Bariga, Lagos State, brought together leaders, members and stakeholders of ANALAG from across the region.
Speaking at the occasion, the National Coordinator of ANALAG, Amb. Ayoola Ronke Fakunle, described the inauguration as an important step towards strengthening the presence and activities of the organisation across Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti States.
Fakunle charged the newly inaugurated State Coordinators to see their appointments as a responsibility to provide effective links between the National Coordinating Team and ANALAG structures in their respective states.
She urged them to immediately begin building strong and functional grassroots networks extending across Local Government Areas, wards and communities.
According to her, the networks should bring together committed members, community leaders, professionals, youths, women and other stakeholders capable of mobilising grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 Presidential Election, as well as other APC candidates contesting elections in the respective states.
The National Coordinator further urged the coordinators to engage directly with the people, communicate effectively and promote the achievements and programmes of the administration while strengthening ANALAG’s grassroots presence.
She emphasised the need for discipline, integrity, unity and commitment in the discharge of their responsibilities, stressing that the State Coordinators must maintain close communication with the National Coordinating Team.
Fakunle said ANALAG was determined to build structures that would not exist merely on paper but would be active, visible and connected to the people at the grassroots.
She congratulated the six newly inaugurated State Coordinators and expressed confidence that, through collective efforts, ANALAG would establish a strong and effective network across the South-West.
“Together, let us build a stronger ANALAG and work for victory in 2027,” she said.
She concluded by wishing ANALAG, the South-West and Nigeria continued progress and success.
