Senator Onyesoh Departs Nigeria for Offshore Technology Conference in Texas, USA.

The lawmaker representing Rivers East Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Federal Character and Intergovernmental Affairs, Distinguished Senator Allwell Heacho Onyesoh, DSSRS, JP has departed Nigeria for the Offshore Technology Conference, holding between May 6th and 9th, 2024, at NRG Park, Houston, Texas, United States of America.

The conference, under the Trade Event Partnership Program (TEPP), has been identified by the U.S. Commercial Service (USCS) as an excellent opportunity for U.S. companies to expand their international business in the energy industry.

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Publicity and Communications, Peter Oriri, noted that Senator Onyesoh, who also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream) and also member Senate Committee on Gas, among others, will be participating in the conference as a delegate from Nigeria.

The conference aims to create prosperity by strengthening the international competitiveness of U.S. industry, promoting trade and investment, and ensuring fair trade and compliance with trade laws worldwide.

Senator Onyesoh’s attendance at the Offshore Technology Conference presents a prime opportunity for him to glean invaluable insights into the latest advancements and innovations in the energy sector. With his roles in key Senate committees, particularly in petroleum resources, local content, NDDC, and gas, Senator Onyesoh will actively engage with industry leaders, policymakers, and experts to gain a comprehensive understanding of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices.
