SARAKI, WIFE, AHMED ABSENT AT SENATE PRESIDENT’S 55TH BIRTHDAY PRAYER
The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki; his wife, Oluwatoyin, and the Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed were, on Tuesday, conspicuously absent at a special prayer for Saraki’s 55th birthday.
The prayer was organised in Ilorin Kwara State, by Saraki’s associates and supporters.
No reason was, however, given during the prayers for the absence of Saraki and his wife; or that of Governor Ahmed who usually plays the role of chief host at such ceremonies.
However, Saraki’s media aide, Yusuph Olaniyonu, informed our correspondent that the Senate President was not in Ilorin because the Senate resumed plenary and Saraki preferred national assignment to personal concerns.
