Members of the House of Representatives elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday protested the mention of the Reformed All Progressives Congress (R-APC) on the floor of the House.
The protest was, however, contained by Speaker Yakubu Dogara.
The protest started after Hon. Bode Ayorinde addressed himself as a proud member of R-APC.
Countering, Hon. Mohammed Bago, opposed the mention of R-APC, saying that it was not recognised in the House.
Several APC members agreed with Bago and attempted to shout down Ayorinde, but he insisted that it was his right to belong to any faction.
