Oyetola propose 152 billion Naira budget to Osun

*Assured end to Era of Modulated salaries
The executive Governor of Osun state Mr Gboyega Oyetola presented a projected annual appropriation budget of 152 billion to the Osun state House of Assembly on 27th December 2018. The event which was witnessed dignitaries like the Royal majesties , members of the National Assembly which include senator adeyeye , Hon Famurewa and Hon Ayo Omidiran. Other dignitaries include top ranked politicians in the state and senior civil servant in the state.
The Governor tagged the it budget of Hope and it’s designed to strengthen the policy thrust and enduring the legacies of the immediate administration and to sustain on the myriad of achievements by his predecessor. The budget according to the Governor is strategies to promote food security , employment and create wealth thru investment in mining, agriculture , education , commerce and industry.
The Governor proposed #152,756,088, 830 for the state. Capital expenditures will take 65.43% of the budget with total proposed expenditures of #91, 957, 496, 420.00. While personnel will take 24.18% with #36.928,416,810.00, other recurrent covers 10.39% with 15.870,175,600.00
The Governor In his speech warned that the budget is a very prudent budget and also assured workers in the state that era of modulated salaries are over in the state.
