OHI OF EIKA LAUDS YAHAYA BELLO ACHIEVEMENTS IN EBIRA LAND

His Royal Highness, Mall. Umar Momohjimoh Opewu, Ohi of Eika District, Okehi LGA commended His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello for his developmental stride in kogi state particularly kogi Central senatorial district. This commendation was made during Ohiaga Annual General Conference at Eika Ohizenyi in Okehi LGA. He stressed that the governor has done alots for us especially the contraction of Reference Hospital, Ohinoyi palace (Ebira Unity House), Roads construction and Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, the grading and up grading of traditional rulers in kogi state, Renovation and construction of new building at Kogi State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Obangede, Renovation of Technical School, Oboroke,mention but few.

He called all sundry of Eika District tohis subject to support the present administration in his bid to move kogi state to a greater height.

The traditional rulers in their numbers attended the clan meeting today in Ohizenyi where the development of Eika land was discussed.

The chairman of the Eika traditional council appreciated the support of the governor so far for the traditional rulers in Eika district in Ohizenyi local government area and implore him to continue the good work which he started some years back.

Ebira land is the traditional home of the governor, Yahaya BELLO and he is the first son of the Ebiras to become the governor in history of Kogi state.

He took power from the majority Igala descendants and since then he has been doing well to make sure Ebira land and Kogi state in general is the pride of the north central.

He therefore admonish the governor to complete the Obangede road down to Ehima. The road has been almost completed and we believe it will commissioned soon.

He pray to Almighty Allah to give him the strength and wisdom to pilots the affairs of the state.
