The Nigeria Assembly News (Nassnews) Annual Orientation and Awards sixth (6th) edition will be held on the 7th of July 2022 at the Merit House Maitama by 10am.
This event is held with the support of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies NILDS. With the theme: “Gender Discrimination; The 2022 Constitution Review Experience”.
The UN Women, National Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ, National Centre for Women Development, Ministry of Women Affairs, the Spokespersons of the two legislative Chambers and other groups will do justice to the theme.
The orientation is designed to inform and educate members of the public and Constituents, bridging the information gap. Awardees in the Legislative and Non-legislative categories will be honoured.
Prominent among last year’s awardees were HE Gov. Babagana Zulum, HE Gov. Yahaya Bello, HE Betty Akeredolu, Senator Bima among others.
This year’s event promises to be a step higher than the previous event judging from the rich array of awardees nominated for this year’s event.
