HOUSE OF REPS PLAN MEDIA INTERACTION TO MARK THREE YEARS ANNIVERSARY by Kennedy Nayina

The House Committee on Media and Public Affairs is planning to host series of wider and effective interaction with a cross section of the Media in commemoration of the three years anniversary of the House of Representatives on the 9th of June 2018.

The Chairman of the Committee Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas issued a circular to that effect dated 22nd May, 2018.

The Media interaction will chronicle the activities of the standing committees and Ad-hoc committees in their investigative and public hearings, oversight activities and other legislative activities carried out in the last three years. Which will be presented to online, print and electronic media stakeholders.

The planned media interaction is in line with the legislative agenda of the 8th Assembly to be open and transparent in its activities and to keep the people informed about its activities.
