DIVISION IN THE LABOUR PARTY AS FACTION PICKS EZENWAFOR AS PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE.

While Tinubu celebrated victory yesterday, It was indeed a daunting experience for Peter Obi as Mr.Calistus Uju Okafor, the acting national chairman, yesterday, announced ambassador Jude Ezenwafor as the flagbearer of the party ahead of the 2023 presidential elections.

This announcement was made yesterday 8th May, 2022 at the Excel hotel and resort, Garki 2, Wuse, Abuja. Jude was introduced by Okafor as “a man of integrity” making him the best candidate for the presidential election.

He also negated every assumptions that may insinuate that he is having an issue with Peter Obi or that he was been used. This can be seen when he said:

“I am fighting for what is my right. I am not fighting my brother. Those who think I’m being used should have a rethink.”

He believes that he has what it takes to lead Nigeria out of the wilderness as he has studied closely two governors of Anambra State and can bodly take up on this challenge. He said, “I am on a rescue mission to free Nigerians from social, economic and political crises currently bedevilling it.”
