Tinubu Reaffirms Confidence in APC Leadership, Pledges Commitment to Nation-Building
President Bola Tinubu has expressed strong confidence in the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), emphasizing its critical role in nation-building and Africa’s development.
Speaking at the APC Caucus meeting in Abuja, Tinubu reaffirmed his commitment to the Renewed Hope manifesto, highlighting Nigeria’s potential to shape the continent’s future. He underscored the importance of achieving food sovereignty as a key strategy for strengthening the country’s economic position.
Acknowledging the hardships Nigerians face due to his administration’s policies, including the removal of fuel subsidies, the president maintained that these decisions were necessary to ensure economic stability. He reassured party members of his unwavering determination to drive positive change and expressed optimism about Nigeria’s future.
“Our determination to deliver is unshaken despite the cacophony of misguided, unfounded, and gloomy claims made by our detractors on the national stage. They will continue to do so, but we remain extremely focused,” Tinubu stated.
He also called on APC Caucus members for their continued support, stressing the need for strategic repositioning to consolidate the party’s achievements.
“Our success must serve as a foundation for a forward-looking agenda that resonates with the hopes and aspirations of Nigerians. I assure you that we are committed to this cause. I stand by our manifesto, progressive ideals, and unwavering belief in a better Nigeria,” he declared.
