The convoy beforehand went to the Palace of the Emir, to pay homage to the emirate council, Lamido 111 in Yola.
Meanwhile Titi Abubakar, the wife of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC), for taking credit for railways built and fully paid for by former President Goodluck Jonathan’s government. She said this yesterday, at a Town Hall meeting organised in her honour, by Ndigboamaka Progressive Association in Lagos.According to Titi, Buhari’s government cannot point at any major project it started during his tenure.“Since the APC came into office, they could not initiate any project and, even the railways that they are now commissioning, were fully paid for by Jonathan. All they are doing is to complete what was almost completed and claim it as their project. They should point at any project that they started and completed.
