Jimkuta Launches Free 2026 JAMB Registration for Youths in Southern Taraba

Senator David S.U. Jimkuta has rolled out the fourth edition of his free JAMB registration programme, offering financial support to prospective 2026 candidates across Southern Taraba.

The initiative, which covers the full cost of JAMB registration, is aimed at easing the burden on families and expanding access to higher education for young people in the district.

Speaking on the programme, the senator said the scheme was part of his long standing effort to support education and give students from all backgrounds an equal opportunity to pursue their academic goals.

Since its introduction, the free JAMB registration initiative has assisted thousands of students in Southern Taraba, many of whom would otherwise struggle to afford the examination fees. The 2026 edition builds on the successes recorded in previous years. Community leaders and parents have welcomed the intervention, describing it as timely, especially in light of the current economic challenges facing many households.

Eligible candidates have been urged to take advantage of the opportunity, as Senator Jimkuta reaffirmed his view that education remains central to personal growth and the long-term development of the region.
