2020 BUDGET: REPS HAIL RETURN TO JANUARY/DECEMBER CIRCLE

Members of the house of the representatives have commended President Muhammadu Buhari’s timely presentation of year 2020 budget, describing it as a budget of hope.
Speaking to NASSNEWS immediately after the presentation on tuesday. The lawmakers said the January to December budget circle will encourage full implementation of Fiscal policies in the country.
Honourable Abdullawal Shettima (YOBE STATE) who expressed optimism that the new cirlce will engender development, hailed the new executive and legislative cooperation that was lacking in the last administration.
He assured that the ninth assembly will remain resolutely committed to the actualization of it’s vision of a bright and prosperous future for all Nigerians.
Honourable Shettima (JIGAWA STATE) who was joined by his colleagues said that they believe that this budget will sustain the growth of the Nation as well as create more jobs in all sectors.
On his part, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Reps) Umar Elyakup, expressed his satisfaction, saying the budget will make significant impact in it’s implementation because of it’s Financial Circle.
Meanwhile, the House will suspend plenary sessions from 15th to 30th of October 2019.
