Wike Names Sani Musa Daura Senior Special Assistant on Protocol

 The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has approved the appointment of Mr. Sani Musa Daura as Senior Special Assistant on Protocol Matters.

The appointment was confirmed in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, which described Daura as a highly experienced protocol officer with more than three decades of service in the FCT Administration.

Mr. Daura, who has served as Director of Protocol for the FCT since 2019, is scheduled to retire from the civil service on January 24, 2026.

According to the statement, his new role as Senior Special Assistant will commence immediately after his retirement, allowing the FCT Administration to continue benefiting from his institutional knowledge and extensive experience in protocol management.
