Dear Distinguished Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, Ma,

Let me begin by stating for the records that I have never met you before in person, neither have I ever held your hand and given you a tour round any of my houses, either in Abuja or in the Kingdom of Lesotho!!!

I also have never received any one Kobo or any other kind of currency from you or your agents.

My writings about you and number 3, are motivated purely by my incurable passion for reading and writing on legal issues that happen in Nigeria!!!

There is a local Nigerian proverb that says: “if a dog bites you once that dog is mad, but if that same dog bites you a second time, then it is you that is mad”.

On 6th March 2025, His Excellency, President of the Senate hit the gavel as he imposed a six month suspension upon your good self (even though all the relevant laws stipulate a maximum of 14 days)!!!

In a Senate composed of 109 Senators, only two of them (Senator Abba Moro and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu) stood up to speak in your behalf!!!

None of the 109 Senators including the two Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN) and over ten lawyers raised any objection or “point-of-Order” to draw the attention of the Senate President to the laws that says that only a maximum of 14 days ought to be imposed upon your good self!!!

Wasn’t that your first clue that something is fundamentally wrong with the “system”?

Instead of people to blame the dog and it’s owner for biting you, people are blaming you for not staying “indoors” all the days of your being a Senator when you know that a rabid dog is on the loose!!!

As if the six month suspension is not enough penalty for you, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) of the Federation has now filed criminal charges against your good self!!!

If I were you, now is the time for you to return to your mother’s country, Ukraine!!!

Now is the time to join the army in Ukraine and fight in its war against Russia, at least there you would be rewarded with both money and medals.

In this your war against Number 3, there are no medals or money for you.

Can you not read the handwriting (s) on the wall?

You and your lawyer wrote several letters (alleging threats to your life and reputation) addressed to both the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) and the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), however none of you received any letter of response or even an acknowledgement. You were never invited as part of any police investigation, yet based on the outcome of a police investigation, you are being charged to court!!!

Out of the two eyewitnesses that alleged first-hand knowledge of the allegations of character assassination, the eye witness that testified in your own favour is now under police arrest and detention!!!

Meanwhile, the eyewitness who is billed to testify in favour of number 3 is free as a bird, singing like a canary, bragging and taunting your good self on social media!!!

It is obvious that you don’t seem to understand the full import and implications of the arrest and detention in a police station of your principal eyewitness!!!

If he were detained inside a facility of the Department of State Services (DSS), it would be like him receiving a five star hotel experience in an Hilton Hotel.

Detention and interrogation inside any Nigerian Police facility is not what would favour your case at all.

For all we know, your principal eyewitness can come out of his current detention and start denying you and recant all his previous statements of defence in your favoury.

Can you not see the handwriting on the wall?

For anyone to even get an invitation and detention by the police, it means that the said invitation and detention was at the instance of a very top ranking official.

I say this with the benefit of hindsight, having been invited by the police on two occasions, when a former Minister and his cohorts tried to use some of the Nigerian Police officers to frame me. To the eternal credit of those police officers, they told me point-blank: “we were paid to invite you and frame you but we would chop the money and let you go free because you are an innocent man”!!!

Another time, was when the Registrar-General of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) wrote a petition to the Nigerian Police against the Nigerian Law Society (NLS).

In my capacity as the Executive Director. the Nigerian Law Society (NLS), I went to respond to the said petition. After I showed the police officers (one of whom was a lawyer) the court judgment of December 2023, that gave legality to the Nigerian Law Society (NLS), the police officer who is also lawyer asked me to give him the link to the online registration portal so that he could enroll as a member of the Nigerian Law Society (NLS).

So in conclusion the point that I am making is that you ought to read the handwritings on the wall and TAKE DRESSING (as soldiers would say)l!!!
