Sen. Shehu Sani Berates Freezing of #EndSARS Protesters Account

Sen. Shehu Sani, former lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the red chamber at the 8th senate, has criticized the freezing of the accounts of EndSARS protesters, seizing their passports and arresting them is a betrayal of the Government pledge to dialogue.

Sen. Shehu Sani, who tweeted this from his verified account @shehusani said ” Freezing the accounts of #EndSARS protesters,seizing their passports and arresting them is a betrayal of the Government pledge to dialogue; and unhelpful to the cause of peace in the country”

Recall that there have been reports that the Central Bank of Nigeria has written some commercial banks to place “Post no debit” to some customers accounts who alleged to have played key role in the EndSARS protest.
