REPORT OF PETITION BY MCDOLL COMMUNICATION ON BEHALF OF UMUT COMMUNITY IN NDOKWA EAST LGA DELTA STATE AGAINST NIGERIAN PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT COMPANY (NPDC) FOR APPOINTMENT INTO NDOWA EAST HOST COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TRUST BOARD
On 1st July 2025 public petition committee House of Representative on the petition by Mcdoll communication on behalf of the Umuti Community against Nigeria Petroleum Development Company for an appointment into Nigeria Petroleum Development Company. Development host Community Trust B of in OML 26 in line with section 242 (1) (2) and 12, 13(13).
Subject to section (88) (89) of the 1999 Nigerian constitution as amended the house have the authority to hear this matter, there are prove of service delivered dated May 28, 2025 and effective service was made to the Managing Director, Nigerian Petroleum Development Company NNPC Towers 6th Floor, Block A central Business District, Abuja. Nigeria Petroleum Development Company have continuously failed to show presence.
The House consequently resolved to approve the following:
Urge Nigeria Petroleum Development Company to appoint Umuti Community in Ndokwa East LGA Delta State be included in the Ndokwa East host community Development Trust Board as a reflection of section 7(f) of the Petroleum Industry Act 2022 which legislative benefit for beneficial owners.
Recommend that Prince (Dr) Frank O. Egbodo be considered the chairman of the Nigeran Petroleum Development Company host community trust board committee.
Urge Nigerian Petroleum Development company to award major and specialize contract in the oil and gas operations/ activities in favour of Frandy Concept Ltd whose office is situated in No 5 Chiazar Ijeh Street, Adjacent to School of Midwifery Asaba Delta State with contact number 08038204080 and email fegbodo@yahoo.com.
