Ramadan,Ndume Hosts Constituents in Maiduguri, Calls for Unity and Prayers

Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume on Monday hosted constituents, friends and political associates at his residence in Maiduguri for Iftar, urging continued prayers for leaders and greater unity across Borno State and the country.

Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, who represents Borno South Senatorial District, gathered constituents, stakeholders and aides at his Maiduguri home to break the Ramadan fast together.

The lawmaker, who said he has made it a habit to spend part of the holy month with his people, explained that this year’s gathering was shorter because of national duties demanding his attention. He noted, however, that it was important for him to share the moment with his constituents despite his schedule.

Ndume called on residents to continue praying for leaders at all levels, especially Governor Babagana Zulum. He urged support and prayers for peace, unity and development in Borno State and Nigeria as a whole.

Hundreds of young people attended the event. The senator personally served food to some of the guests and later joined youth groups to break his fast with them.

The senator also met with leaders of the newly formed structure of the All Progressives Congress in Gwoza Local Government Area, led by Hon. Abba Lawan and other stakeholders.

He congratulated the new executives and encouraged them to promote inclusiveness, teamwork and shared responsibility in building the party. Ndume advised them to carry members along in decision making, stressing that unity remains key to political success.

The gathering ended with prayers and renewed pledges to serve the community.
