NORMALCY RETURNS TO YOBE AS CORPS MEMBER ENDS ORIENTAION IN POTISKUM

Normalcy has finally return to the North after the strike of the deadly group, bokoharam. The corpers, in their closing parade with excitement took turn to march pass in style. The Batch B passing out is held nationwide. The state has been exempted for the issues of Boko haram in the past.

The Executive Governor, His excellency Alhaji Ibrahim Gaidam in his speech congratulate the corps members for successfully completing one out of the four cardinal programmes of the National Youth Service Corps . The resilence and doggedness during the 3 weeks hectic training clearly suggests that they are ready to contribute meaningfully to the promotion of national unity and integration as well as the all round development of the nation which are the tenets for which NYSC has endeared so much to all and sundry over the years since its esterblishment in 1973. On behalf of the president, Commander in chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari, the governor the orientation course designed for the corps members deployed yobe state for 2016 batch b stream ll service year closed.

The yobe state government in his statement commended the performances of the passing out NYSC members and encourage them to be good ambassadors in whatever endeavour they found themselves.
